Malibu, CA, United States, Oct 6, 2026 - (ABN Newswire) - RUA GOLD (NZE:RGI) (OTCMKTS:NZAUF) (TOR:RUA) (HAM:X9R) CEO Robert Eckford joins Ellis Martin for an update on the company's Auld Creek project in New Zealand's Reefton Goldfield.

Recent drilling includes 0.03 metres at 69.2 grams per tonne gold, approximately two ounces per tonne, along with 6.6 metres at 24.9 grams per tonne gold equivalent and 6.3 metres at 14.4 grams per tonne gold equivalent. Eckford says the results provide further evidence of continuity within the high grade vein system at Auld Creek as the company advances from infill drilling toward additional step out drilling and potential resource growth.

RUA GOLD is also reporting significant antimony mineralization. Eckford discusses sections containing approximately 6percent antimony and as much as 25 percent antimony. Antimony is designated as a critical mineral and is used in applications including munitions, automotive manufacturing, batteries and solar panels. Eckford discusses the importance of developing additional sources of antimony outside China as governments and industries focus on supply security.

The company is progressing Auld Creek through New Zealand's fast track permitting process. Eckford says the metallurgy is well understood, with approximately 85 percent antimony recovery through a conventional flotation circuit. He also discusses the potential for production as early as the middle of 2028, subject to permitting, engineering, construction and other development requirements.

RUA GOLD expects several additional developments in the coming weeks, including pre feasibility study economics, submission of its mine permit application and an updated resource incorporating the Globe Progress property and approximately 20,000 metres of drilling completed at Auld Creek.

RUA GOLD trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under RUA, on the New Zealand Exchange under RGI, in the United States under NZAUF and in Frankfurt under X9R.
