China-Russia Partnership Remains Strong Despite Global Challenges
Speaking at a press conference on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress, Wang described the China-Russia strategic partnership as built on equality, respect, and mutual benefit from its inception. He said this model represents the path for a new type of major-country relations.
Wang emphasized the deep political trust between the two nations, noting that working back-to-back lies at the heart of this relationship, and the strong strategic resilience enables it to defy any external instigation or pressure.
He added that China and Russia coordinate closely on major international and regional issues, sharing the broadest strategic consensus and closest strategic coordination, including defending international rule and order.
Reflecting on history, Wang noted that 80 years ago, China and Russia contributed to shaping the postwar order. Today, 80 years on, China and Russia together will add momentum to the advent of a multipolar world, he said.
